The JCE Startup Business Accelerator is a live online course designed to help beginners build a business from scratch. It provides a structured path covering five foundational areas of entrepreneurship.

Enrollment Requirements

• US Residents Only: Due to regional licensing, this course is exclusively open to students residing in the United States.
• Identification: All participants are required to use their real name, as registered at the time of sign-up, in order to  receive credit for the class.
• Language Requirement: The curriculum is taught entirely in English. All participants must have a strong command of spoken and written English to fully engage and participate.
• Zoom Account: You must have a registered Zoom installed on your device to access the live sessions.

Live Session Policies

• No Class Recordings: To protect the privacy of all participants and encourage open discussion, there are no recordings permitted during this live class. Additionally, the instructor will not provide session replays or transcripts. 
• No Makeup Sessions: Because our classes are live and highly interactive, there are no makeup sessions available for missed classes. Please review the schedule carefully and ensure you can attend the dates you register for. 

Technical & Environment Requirements

• Internet Speed: Must have a high-speed, stable broadband internet connection to support uninterrupted video and audio.
• Device: Must join via a desktop computer, laptop, or tablet. Smartphones are strongly discouraged.
• Camera: Must have a working, turned-on webcam. Video must remain on to verify attendance and engagement.
• Audio: Must have a working microphone and be located in a quiet, distraction-free environment.
• Account Settings: Must display a first and last name that matches registration; anonymous or alias names are not permitted. 

🤝   Classroom Etiquette &  Requirements:

• Attire: Appropriate attire is required at all times.
• Engagement: Participants must be fully present. Driving, working out, or participating from bed is not permitted.
• 5 Student Don'ts: (1) Do not engage in distractions like browsing unrelated websites or utilizing social media, (2) Avoid multitasking, (3) Do not leave your microphone unmuted when not speaking, (4) Do not interrupt the instructor or classmates, (5) Do not fail to participate in discussions and activities.

• Third-Party Recording: No third-party software or devices (e.g., phones, screen recorders) may be used to capture the audio or visual stream.  

Because space is limited and materials are prepared in advance, the following cancellation policy applies:

• Cancellations made 48 hours prior to the scheduled start time are eligible for a refund.
• Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled class start time are not eligible for a refund.

• Refunds will not be granted if a cancellation request is submitted after the class has commenced.
